Lars Schade alias MrVenom1974

Summary

Lars Schade, known in the scene as MrVenom1974, has been interested in video games since childhood. After his first experiences with Pong, he moved on to the Philips G7000 at the age of 8 and later to various Atari, Commodore, Nintendo and Sony systems. His growing interest developed into a passion for collecting in 2010, bringing computers, consoles and handhelds into his collection.

It was a short step from gamer to reviewer: MrVenom began presenting his treasures on a blog called Gaming Guardian. Recognising video as a particularly effective way to present retro hardware, he founded a YouTube channel of the same name in 2012. Since then, he has presented all kinds of systems and games under the banner of “Retrotainment”.

In addition to complete Let’s Plays of classics, remakes and also modern titles, it also offers detailed reports on local gaming events. Thus, the channel provides a good mix for retro connoisseurs and those who still want to be.

Lars Schade can be found not only on Youtube, but also on Twitter.
