Mobile Gaming – Generation 8

Nintendo and Sony remain the only manufacturers of mobile consoles, but they have to contend with new competition. As 3DS and Ps Vita appear, mobile games on smartphones and tablets have created a gigantic market that will make handhelds superfluous in the foreseeable future.

Both devices contain – apart from the possibility to make calls – all standard functions of a smartphone, they have a browser as well as apps for video streaming offers and social media.
