Shotracer

Summary
Following the consideration that boys are traditionally particularly interested in cars and firearms, the Shotracer combines both preferences: a rifle that can shoot cars. Nintendo itself does not develop the toy, but buys Hasbro’s license. Apart from stickers, labels and packaging, the Shotracer is identical to Hasbros Ricochet Racers series.
The Shotracer consists of the toy weapon itself as well as two cars with corresponding modules for the cartridge chamber, a ramp and a moving target. The futuristic shotgun is made of plastic, whereas the cars are made of iron to give them additional mass.
In order to be fired, the rifle must be placed on level ground and a safety button on the left must be pressed.
