Acorn The ARM Evaluation System

Summary
When the British company Acorn was working on the new 32 bit RISC processor ARM, it developed an external processor board called The ARM Evaluation System for the Acorn BBC Microcomputer. On the board, an ARM1 with 4 MiB memory is installed, and it contains a special BASIC in the 512 KiB ROM next to the system software (ARM Tube OS). If the BBC Micro is connected to the evaluation system via the tube interface, the ARM processor executes the BASIC programs and forwards input/output and screen commands to the 6502-BBC computer. Few of these modules have been built and they are very rare nowadays.
