NewTek Digi-View Gold

Summary

Digi-View Gold by NewTek appears in 1989 and digitizes video images at the Amiga. The small module is mounted on the parallel port and receives a composite video signal via a Cinch socket. Color images are created in three passes: In front of the camera, a colour filter comes one after the other, the software composes the partial images. The image memory is the working memory of the Amiga, at least 1 MB is required. The Amiga resolutions are supported from 320 × 200 to 768 × 480 pixels; there are own versions for PAL and NTSC.
