Bandai Karaoke Studio

Summary
The Karaoke Studio consists of a plug-in module and microphone and allows to use the Famicom as a karaoke station. The expansion, presented in July 1987, is produced exclusively for the Japanese market, because the 25 songs are 8-bit interpretations of mostly Japanese pop songs (though internationally renowned songs such as Jingle Bells are also in the selection). It is assessed how well the singing fits with the original. Two modules, which are inserted directly into the Karaoke Studio, expand the music selection with twenty songs each; they appear at the end of 1987 and at the beginning of 1988.
