Entex Industries Entex Select-a-game

Summary
Entex Industries released Select-a-game in 1981. It is a relatively large handheld console powered by four C batteries. Its games resemble those of Milton Bradley (MB), but a display of only 7 x 16 elongated red lights limits the experience. It was sold only in the USA, with six games released before Entex ended support in 1982. An Entex Table Top Game Machine planned in 1981 never appeared. The handheld’s main distinguishing feature is its two-player mode. Its six games are Space Invaders 2 (included), Basketball 3, Football 4, Pinball, Baseball 4 and Pac-Man 2. Battleship and Turtles were announced but never released.
Pac-Man 2 is the rarest module because Entex lost a license lawsuit against Coleco, remaining modules were sold off and so disappeared from the market. Unfortunately for Entex: All license revenues for Pac-Man 2 had to be transferred to Coleco.
