MCS ALPHA 1

Summary
The ALPHA 1 from the Berlin-based company MCS (Micronic Computer Systeme GmbH) is an unusual computer from 1977 — which had the MOS Technology KIM-1 as its model — in which the CPU card “M 622” is plugged into the bus connector to the console housing. A small LED display is installed on the ALPHA 1 and a small Hex keyboard as well as ports for connecting external peripherals. If the ALPHA 1 is launched, the “Operating System” NOMA (Monitor ALPHA) is ready to receive commands. A data terminal, a TTY or a punched-tape reader can be connected to the communication plug. The documentation is excellent and comes with a MOS 6502 documentation.
