Milton Bradley (MB) MicroVision

Summary
The first handheld with replaceable modules is Milton Bradley’s MicroVision. Milton Bradley (abbreviated MB) is very successful at the beginning with the handheld, which appears in 1979. MB earns over eight million US dollars in the first year. But for the MicroVision handheld only eleven (official) games have appeared and he has a screen that is modest 16 x 16 pixels in size. It cannot save game progress. After initial euphoria the popularity of the console decreases and MB stops production in 1981. In 1981 the MicroVision still had an appearance in the second part of the film Friday the 13th.
