NEC TV tuner (PI-AD11) for PC Engine GT/TurboExpress

Summary

NEC’s TV tuner allows you to receive TV programs for the portable PC Engine GT game console (called TurboExpress in the USA). For the connection with the modulator, the console offers an extra port on the right side, where the modulator is plugged in and bolted. A TV tuner module later also released Sega for Game Gear, where the modulator comes to the top of the console. In times of digital reception, the TV tuner turns into a pure collector’s object.
