Pioneer LaserActive

Summary
With the LaserActive, Pioneer combined a LaserDisc and CD player with interchangeable expansion modules for games. The company documented the system’s introduction in 1993 as a collaboration with Sega and NEC.
The device represents an approach to bringing film, sound and interactive content together in a modular system. The collection includes a CLD-A100 with PAC-N1, PAC-S1 and GOL-1.
Looking at hardware and media together
