Roxonic Super Elf P

Summary
The Super Elf is a single-board computer with an RCA 1802 (COSMAC) processor, released by Quest Electronics in 1977 as a system for learning to program. It builds on the COSMAC Elf construction project from Popular Electronics magazine and adds keys and LEDs for functions such as Reset, Load, Go and Wait. Programs are entered on a hexadecimal keypad, with output on seven-segment displays or through the CDP1861 video chip at 128 × 64 pixels on a television. Software generates sound through a single processor output. Expansions add RAM, a ROM monitor, Tiny BASIC, a cassette interface and the S-100 bus. Roxonic’s role in the Super Elf P shown here remains unclear.
