Sega Dreamcast Keyboard
Summary
The Dreamcast Keyboard is a complete keyboard for the Sega Dreamcast game console. Various models came on the market, including a Japanese version without a numeric keypad. The keyboard is supported by some games like “The Typing of the Dead”, “Quake 3” or “Phantasy Star Online”, and the game control pays off especially with first-person shooters. About 10 games use the keyboard input. As a rule, the keyboard is used for classic text input in the chat or for the web browser (“PlanetWeb Web Browser”) in order to be able to surf the Internet easily. In addition to the keyboard, Sega also brought a mouse to the market as an accessory. The plugs are proprietary, on the market there are adapters to connect PS/2 keyboards.
