Tomy Electronic Shaberoku
Summary
Shaberoku is a toy robot and radio in one. The radio has a radio search function and a volume control. If it is turned on, the robot moves synchronously to the voice of the radio speaker, or to the beat of the currently played music. His eyes glow, his mouth moves and his arms swing as the rest of the body shakes back and forth.
Shaberoku appears in a total of six variants, which differ mainly in color. Among other things, it is available in Germany in blue under the name Mr. D.J. In Asia, there is a version that looks like a sumo wrestler and a brown one called Choco Robot, which is produced for the South Korean chewing gum manufacturer Lotte Confectionery.
