Tandy TRS-80 Micro Color Computer MC-10

Summary
The MC-10 was Tandy’s inexpensive entry into colour computing, sold in Radio Shack stores in 1983 for US$119.95. Aimed at beginners, it is a reduced version of the TRS-80 Color Computer. A 0.89 MHz Motorola MC6803 works with 4 KB RAM, expandable to 20 KB, while graphics use the same MC6847 video chip as the Color Computer. The 48 small chiclet keys also carry printed BASIC commands; Micro Color BASIC comes from Microsoft.
The MC-10 was not successful, and sales ended in 1984. It lived on in France, where Matra and Hachette worked with Tandy to produce the Matra Alice clone.
