Summary
ITT Schaub-Lorenz, Graetz and Ingelen TV sets with “replaceable operating cassettes” came on the market in 1977 as a “concept with future security”. (picture left and right from the ITT total programme 1978/79). These modules were plugged into the TV. There were three types of “operator systems”: “program cassette” (remote control), “VIDEO-TEXT cassette” and “TELE-MATCH game cassette”. These games were then also sold by ITT, Graetz and Ingelen, but an alternative market did not arise.
