Summary

The company Timex Sinclair was a joint venture between the British Sinclair Research and the American Timex Corporation (now Timex Group USA, Inc.) to better position the well-known Sinclair computers in the United States. Timex Sinclair released a total of four computers, the first in 1982 for less than $100, which was an unbeatable price. The Timex Sinclair 2068 next year is based on the ZX Spectrum, with many incompatibilities that only the European representative Timex Computer 2068 (Portugal and Poland) irons out.
