Atari Paddle Controllers (CX30)

Summary
Paddle controllers are analog potentiometers that allow an object to move over the screen at a chosen speed. They are technically identical with the controllers of the Pong consoles, whose success succeeds – even during the second generation of the video game consoles there are still games that copy Pong (or at least are significantly influenced by Pong) and corresponding controllers are needed. Only in the following years does the digital control by joystick finally prevail.
Two Atari paddles each are connected to a controller port, allowing up to four players to play at the same time. The paddles exist in two versions, which differ only in the labeling of the stickers.
