Summary

While the average price for an Atari game in Germany is DM 139, the modules in the US are already available on average for $19 to $24, which makes it more likely that players will assemble a collection.

The Modular Cartridge Library is a storage system that can be extended to all sides with additional boxes. It consists of plastic, the wood look is printed, matching the Atari 2600. The library brings Atari to the market in 1981; it offers space for up to 14 modules and the corresponding instructions. The fact that there is no room for the original packages of the games suggests that it is unusual to keep them at that time. This in turn explains the partly significantly higher prices, which are today paid by collectors for modules with intact packaging.
