Atari TT030

Summary
The TT030 is Atari’s most powerful ST-family computer, presented at CeBIT in Hanover in 1990 and available in the USA from 1991. A 32 MHz Motorola 68030 and 68882 floating-point coprocessor give it workstation capabilities. In addition to 2 MB ST-RAM, up to 256 MB of fast TT-RAM can be fitted. It includes SCSI and a VME slot. Graphics reach 640 × 480 pixels in 16 colours, or 1280 × 960 in monochrome in “TT High” mode for 19-inch monitors.
It runs TOS 3. Originally planned as a Unix workstation, its Unix version arrived too late to make an impact in that market. In the USA, the TT030 with 4 MB and a 40 MB hard drive cost $2,995. The cheaper Atari Falcon 030 followed in 1992; production ended in 1993.
