Summary
Epoch Galaxy II is another representative of the mini arcade game concept and a classic toy clone: on this device, the Galaxian developed two years earlier by Namco is playable, but without Epoch paying royalties.
The Epoch Galaxy has a VFD screen and is powered by four AA batteries. The game is played mainly with joystick and a fire button. In addition, a Power Start and Select button are available. The latter can be used to adjust the difficulty level.
In Japan and in the UK Epoch Galaxy II (a Galaxy or Galaxy I is never released by Epoch) appears under the title Astro Wars.
