Tandy Corporation Tandy-12

Summary
The Tandy-12 is a computer-based arcade toy with twelve built-in games. It is developed and produced by the American company Tandy Corporation and then sold in their Radio Shack stores. Each game is selected via one of the twelve buttons. The Tandy-12 does not have a screen, so the games are played by acoustic and visual signals alone. Each button has its own colour and the device is able to play different sounds, making it easier to process the signals and to imagine the game. The game concepts range from composing and playing music to a variant of the classic Mastermind to a shoot ‘em up, in which enemy invaders must be resisted. The two games “Roulette” and “Baseball” also use an enclosed board of cardboard as well as some plastic chips (only “Roulette”).
