IQue Player

Summary

IQue is a joint venture company of Nintendo in China, used to circumvent the console ban, as Chinese companies are less affected by it. In addition, the device is sold as a “player” and not a “console”. Technically a slightly reduced version of the Nintendo 64, however, there is no possibility to connect modules. Although there is the possibility to download games via memory card at a kiosk, the offer is very limited. China lifted the ban on consoles in 2015, making such developments unlikely in the future.
