Mattel/PAX Power Glove

Summary
The Power Glove is a control unit for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). For the first time, Nintendo games could be controlled with intuitive hand gestures. Thanks to the early technology of virtual reality and the good coverage in the media, the Power Glove receives great public attention. Produced by Mattel in the USA and PAX in Japan, the glove has classic NES controller buttons, as well as ten other buttons labeled with numbers from 0-9. These can be used to execute certain commands, such as changing the fire rate of buttons A and B.
No game is included in the package and only two games will be released, which specifically exploit the possibilities of the Power Glove. They don’t sell well. In addition, the controller is in criticism due to low precision and complicated control and thus stops production after a year.
