Summary

The search for the rings is number 42 of seventy game modules for the Philips G7000. It is a mix of board and video game and provides figures, cards and other board game elements in the pack. This is Philips’ attempt to establish the game console also for games with more than 2 participants and for the whole family. The concept is not very successful and is discarded after three games implemented – Modules 41, 42 and 46. In the USA, the game appears under the name The Quest for the Rings a year earlier.
