STD Handy Gear (SV-800)

Summary
To keep a Sega Game Gear clean, you could put it in a plastic bag, or use the Handy Gear from STD: a protective shell shaped like an enlarged Game Gear. It is not waterproof, partly because of the speaker openings, and the advertising admits “we don’t suggest scuba diving”. It does, however, protect against knocks and splashes. The accessory also incorporates a 2× magnifier, a compartment for a game and a carrying strap. Its buttons mechanically press those of the console inside. Interestingly, it has a full-sized start button, whereas the Game Gear itself has only a semicircular one.
