Konami Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles-Four For Four

Summary

In the 1980s and 1990s, the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” comic series was very successful. Soon after, the first video games about the Turtles will appear. Japanese video game developer Konami is also involved in the development of Turtles games and with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Arcade Game on the NES perhaps produces the best Turtles game ever. In addition to this stationary implementation and some other variants, six small handhelds from Konami appear alone. Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles-Four For Four is one of them; it only appears limited in the UK. Four For Four is a typical, simple LCD game of the Konami series and is somewhat oriented towards the first Turtle-LCD Splinter Speaks. It is designed only for one player and has a more classic design. For the British broadcaster BBC, the word “Ninja” is not child-friendly and therefore it is deleted from the name on the English market.
