Sega SG-1000 II

Summary
The SG-1000 is the first Sega released game console to appear on the same day as Nintendo’s Famicom. The system is flopping, which gives Sega managing director Hayao Nakayama the opportunity to buy the company, which until that time belongs to the conglomerate Gulf & Western.
Under Nakayama’s direction, the SG-1000 II appears almost exactly a year later, a revised version that is also not a success, but becomes the basis for the development of the Mark III.
