Vtech CreatiVision

Summary
Since VTech is based in Hong Kong, the CreatiVision, although the latest hardware is installed, can be produced extremely cheaply and is priced below Atari and its competitors.
The CreatiVision appears worldwide under a wide variety of names. The label “CreatiVision” is usually preserved, but in Australia and New Zealand the device Dick Smith Wizzard is named after the electronic chain through which it is distributed. VTech produces 18 games, some of which exist in a dozen variants for the various international markets. All games are unashamed copies of successful games by other providers with altered graphics and music.
When the controllers are located in the console, they act as a computer keyboard. The reason for this is that the CreatiVision can be expanded into a computer system. Around 1984, VTech released the same hardware as a home computer under the name Laser 2001.
