Commodore Amiga 600

Summary
The Amiga 600 is the conclusion of the Amiga 500 series, which Commodore introduced in 1992. Like its predecessor, the Amiga 600 has a Motorola 68000 CPU – all subsequent home computers, such as Amiga 1200 and others, rely on a 68EC020 CPU.
The Amiga 600 is the start of the Amiga series with built-in IDE interface; so there is also a version Amiga 600HD with built-in 2.5-inch ATA hard drive with 20 or 40 MiB. Of the dimensions, the Amiga 600 is the smallest of the Amiga series – it dispenses with a numbered keyboard.
Only one year is the Amiga 600 in production, as it is considered one of the biggest failures of Amiga history. The performance is no longer up to date and cannot justify the high price of around 800 DM for introduction compared to other computers. The Amiga 1200 quickly replaces the Amiga 600.
