Computec Video Game System

Summary
The Video Game System by Computec is an unusual clone of an Atari 2600 console. It was produced in Taiwan, it is held in a light beige shade. On the top right is the module shaft (at the original consoles always centered), on the left is the logo, including the two buttons “Game Select” and “Reset”. To the left of the side are the two controller ports, and two switches for “Game Difficulty”, each for player A and player B. In the back are a on/off switch, the interfaces Tape In and Tape Out, a TV output, a 9V current input and a Color/BW switch. With regard to the connections, the clone is fundamentally different from the original Atari console, which has no tape sockets – these had to be retrofitted with Starpath. This is an extension that is very rare and supports only ten special “tape” games.
